Is a historic Italian wine, grown in one of the smallest areas on the hills of Monferrato in Piedmont - Italy.

Production of only 190 hectoliters per year . 

Winner of numerous awards and wine competitions. A wine suitable for aging that improves over time.


Obtained from Barbera grapes (80%), Grignolino and Freisa (20%) grapes.

Harvest period: second half of September

Harvesting method: manual

Vinification: traditional red vinification, 8 days maceration with automated pumping over, cold stabilization.

At least one year of aging

Aging: steel

Format: 0.75 l

Alcohol content: 13.5 vol.

Visual analysis: light ruby red with garnet reflections, characteristic

Olfactory analysis: vinous with a light perfume

Gustatory analysis: dry, harmonious and full

Serving temperature: 18 - 20 C

Roasted meats, foods with an intense flavor , even hot and spicy. Strong and seasoned cheeses . Cereals and derivatives cooked with intense sauces and aromas.
